Following the government's decision to preceed with the ending on ALL Coronavirus advice, guidance and restrictions and moving on and living with covid and treating it like any other respiratory infection. We can confirm with there being no direct advice on covid from the government we have no alternative to no longer provide covid updates as if we were to do so could result in wrong information being advised.
The government's advice along with any respiratory infection that you should stay home for around 3-5 unless you are well enough and don't have a temperature/fever and tobminimise any contact with others where possible.
Free COVID-19 Testing ends for most.
For everyone free COVID-19 symptomatic PCR TESTS have ended. (Some NHS treatment may require free PCR test done via the NHS)
Free Lateral Flow Tests (Rapid Antigen self-test) have ended for most asymptomatic people. Tests can be purchased from £2 per test from pharmacy's and supermarkets.
Lateral Flow test remain free if:
Asked by G.P or NHS.
Works in face to face care in the NHS.
Aged 12 and over and is immunosuppressed or is at hight risk of covid. (Some people with symptoms who are in this category may be eligible for free tests)
Work in Health and Social care settings with face to face contact.

I can confirm that every now and then we may share a covid update depending if available (advice and updates will now come from WHO if no advice from UK Gov or the NHS). If the pandemic worsens and the government releases new advice I will share updates as soon as possible. If I feel that the pandemic worsens and there is no government advice I will share advice from the WHO (World Health Organisation [who.int])
